BIOGRAPHY
Brooklyn Streets is a collaboration of two Irish DJ’s coming together to produce electronic dance music. The pair take their inspiration from the sounds of house, garage, techno and even hip-hop.
They began their journey producing remixes of popular hip-hop samples by Kanye West and Notorious B.I.G. Their first track saw a sample from Kanye West’s “The New Workout Plan” over a hard hitting acid baseline. They went on to produce remixes of samples such as Kanye’s “Love Lockdown” and Notorious B.I.G’s “Who Shot Ya” and “Going Back to Cali”.
Brooklyn Streets began to gather traction on their remix of ABBA’s 1979 classic “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” which was aired across various radio stations including Beat 102/103, iRadio, POWER and SPIN 1038. Their latest remix displays their take on iiO’s mega-record “Rapture” featuring Nadia Ali which can be found on the Brooklyn Streets Soundcloud or their Facebook Page as can all other remixes named above.
Brooklyn Streets worked together with Irish born vocalist LEMC and have recently released there first original single "Up All Night". The track was worked upon for months and is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and many more.
